RA6-15Multiple-Family Dwelling District

RA6-15 (ACZO §6.5) is a multiple-family (apartment) district permitting apartments, townhouses, two-family and one-family dwellings by-right. Multiple-family and townhouse buildings may rise to 60 feet / 6 stories by-right (900 sq ft of lot area per dwelling unit); one- and two-family dwellings are limited to 35 feet. By site plan, buildings may reach 12 stories / 125 feet (as in the RA4.8 district). Common along Columbia Pike and near the county's Metro corridors.
