The Legacy Mixed-Use Community (LMXC) Zone recognizes former Mixed-Use Community (M-X-C) Zones established before April 1, 2022 for which a Comprehensive Sketch Plan, Preliminary Plan of Subdivision, Final Development Plan, or Detailed Site Plan was approved before that date. Both the development standards and the permitted uses are property-specific: they follow the approved plan and the M-X-C Zone as it existed on April 1, 2022, not a countywide table (Subtitle 27, Sec. 27-4205(d); transitional provisions Sec. 27-1700). If the approved plan becomes invalid before the land is fully developed, the land is placed in another zone under Sec. 27-1700. No property may be rezoned into a Legacy Zone after April 1, 2022.
